Howdy! Here are two cents about me; I’m a low brass player and instrument repair technician. I live in a lakeside home in the beautiful state of Virginia, where I’m blessed to enjoy the company of my lifetime partner and best friend, our wonderful teenage kid, and two fun-loving beagles. In addition to repairing instruments and making music, I enjoy riding motorcycles as often as possible, exploring the natural world, and meeting new people. Cheers!

Frederick Vaughan, a Virginia native, is a versatile woodwind and multi-instrumentalist with professional experience ranging from theme park bands, pit orchestras, big bands, wedding bands, military bands, to chamber ensembles. He has performed in several countries throughout North and South America during his career.

Jack is currently a student at Virgina Tech and majoring in statistics, but also helps Chris at The Tuba Lair by cleaning and repairing brass instruments! He has spent the past year learning the ropes on brass repair from Chris himself, and loves being surrounded by instruments every day. He also plays the trumpet in a number of ensembles when he is away at college.

Hello Everyone, my name is Demi Richings! I’m from Beaumont, Texas where I graduated from Lamar University with my Bachelor in Music Performance on French Horn. I've been in many different ensembles including DCI, wind ensembles, Symphonic Ensembles, Brass Choirs, French Horn Quintets, and a woodwind quintet. I’m very excited to learn instrument repair under the guidance of Fred and Chris!
